Welcome to the UCSC Rowing Club!  Our Club exists to give UCSC students, faculty, and staff access to equipment that makes it possible to enjoy our beautiful Monterey Bay.

The continued success of our Club depends on Club members respecting the rules and taking care of the equipment we provide.  These rules are designed for your safety and to avoid wear and tear on the boats.

Please familiarize yourself with these rules and have any questions asked and answered before you use the equipment.  Knowing and following the rules (and making sure your guests do so as well) is your responsibility as a Rowing Club member; violation of the rules could result in losing your Rowing Club privileges.

Common sense and good judgment are essential to safe and proper boat handling.  Remember that you represent the Rowing Club to the Santa Cruz boating community.

The Rowing Club provides members with either unsupervised rowing or organized rowing practices for those who are interested in competing. Rowers are evaluated based on experience and skill level, which then determines what level rower they can become.

No guests are allowing in Rowing Club.

Fees:

UCSC students: $45/quarter

UCSC faculty/staff and alumni: $100/quarter

Community Members: $110/quarter

**Current sailing students can receive the Rowing club membership at 1/2 price after the 5th week of the quarter during the Academic Calendar.**
