UCSC Disc Golf Course

WELCOME TO THE UCSC DISC GOLF COURSE!

The UCSC Disc Golf Course is managed by OPERS and the UCSC Disc Golf Sports Club. It is supported by the Student Union Assembly and Stevenson College.

In order for us to maintain this course and stay in good standing, we need all people who play the course to adhere to the following rules.

NO DOGS, NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING, NO TRASH. Pick up trash you see on the course. Do not damage any of the natural terrain or facilities.

SAFETY: NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU THROW IF THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO MAY BE HIT BY YOUR THROW!

TEEING OFF: Tee throws must be completed from within the designated tee box.

THROWING ORDER: After teeing-off, the player whose disc is farthest from the hole always throws first. The player with the least amount of throws on the previous hole is the first to tee-off on the next hole.

FAIRWAY THROWS: Fairway throws must be made with the foot closest to the hole on the lie. A run-up and normal follow through after release is allowed.

PUTTING: Players must demonstrate stability when putting from within 10 meters of the basket and remain behind their mark. Running up and/or following through while putting within this range is not permitted.

COMPLETION OF HOLE: (Holing Out): A disc that comes to rest in the Basket or Chains constitutes successful completion of that hole.

Please report any issues with the course to the Sports Club Office at 831-459-4220.

Happy Golfing!
